Business Luncheon with Dr Stefano Carboni, Director of the Art Gallery of WA

Tuesday, August 18, Dr Stefano Carboni, new director of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, will be our guest speaker. The lunch will be held in a contemporary art environment, in the very special venue of the Art Gallery of WA itself. The event is being organised by ICCI and the American Chamber of Commerce in Perth. Born in Venice, Carboni previously held the position of Curator and Administrator of the Department of Islamic Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Upon his appointment late last year he said his vision for the Gallery was to build on its reputation as a premier State and Australian arts institution.
